Description: Hank Aaron professional model baseball bat c.1959. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 34oz. The bat exhibits very heavy use including checking to the back of the barrel with a few period finish nail repairs, ball/stitch marks, and surface wear. S2 model number is stamped on the knob end and Aaron has signed the barrel in black marker with "#755" notation. The bat was originally obtained by former Major League player Fred Thomas around 1959 from his friend Eddie Mathews. The bat was given to Thomas' grandson who has had it in his possession since that date. According to the younger Thomas, the bat was briefly used by him as well as a young man.
