Description: Rare Roy Campanella rookie era professional model baseball bat c.1948-49. Very scarce rookie era Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35 1/2" long and weighs 34.6oz. The bat exhibits evident usage incl. cleat marks, ball marks, and a repaired handle crack (professionally done, not visible to the naked eye). G80 model number is stamped on the knob end. The knob itself has a few chips which were professionally repaired and are not visible to the naked eye. Campanella game used bats are among the rarest of all HOF players from the 1950s era with only a handful of examples extant.
