Description: Rare Honus Wagner handwritten letter. Dated July 16, 1926, handwritten letter on Honus Wagner Sporting Goods stationary pictures an image of Wagner at the top. Content is regarding a request for a player to be placed with the Pirates. Signed, "Yours Truly, J.Honus Wagner" at the bottom in black ink. The signature rates 7/8 out of 10. The letter itself has some creasing from mailing fold lines and has been laid down on an archival paper backing. The letter has a small tear at the bottom right which has been re-attached to the backing. A color image of the famed Wagner T-206 tobacco card has been neatly attached to the base of the letter by the collector in the period.
