Description: 1937 and 1938 New York Yankees large format team photographic display piece from the DiMaggio collection. Fine period photographic display piece consists of two original 10"x16" black and white team photographs. The images picture the World Champion 1937 and 1938 Yankees incl. DiMaggio, Gehrig, Dickey, and Gomez. Both photos have the player names printed within the bottom margins. The photos are partially laid down on period board and were slightly trimmed at the edges for framing which basically only removed a white border. Contrast and clarity remain exceptional with the surface having some minor wrinkling and a few areas of wear: EX
