Description: Joe DiMaggio presentational wristwatch. Longines 14K gold wristwatch as presented to DiMaggio on Oct. 1, 1949 at Yankee Stadium during Joe DiMaggio Day. Inscribed on back, "To Joe DiMaggio, From the Italian Welfare Assn. Elizabeth, NJ 10-1-49". The watch itself features (17) inset diamonds on the dial area and is not in running order. Retains its original leather band with evident wear incl. a tear to one of the small straps that holds the buckle. Based on the degree of use, it is apparent that Joe was fond of the watch: EX
