Description: 1968 Casey Stengel handwritten and signed holiday card with incredible content. 4'x6" greeting card sent to Joe Pignatano with handwritten and signed note on the reverse from Stengel that reads, "Pignatano, 1969 may become the greatest year of the Mets. Gil and you coaches handled the players on the field and off the field wonderfully with the youth and lack of experience. Good luck in 1969-Casey Stengel". They did not call him the "Old Professor" for nothing. Incredibly poignant card with relation to the greatest Mets team in their history. Includes LOA from James Spence Authentication and letter of provenance from Joe Pignatano: EX-MT
