Description: 1911 Phila. Athletic photographic display piece. Rare original matted display includes a 7"x10" team photograph of the World Champion Athletics by W.Jennings. Photo retains pristine clarity and contrast with players incl. Baker, Bender, Plank, Collins, and manager Mack. Flanking the team photo on either side are 5"x7" original photographs of Frank Baker and Chief Bender. "Philadelphia Athletics World's Champion Base Ball Team 1911" is stenciled in white lettering on the mount below. Overall size measures 14"x24" with only a small surface crease/tear on the mount near the "1911" stenciled date. Very impressive period display which was originally presented to the Athletics players: EX/MT-NM
