Description: Baseball decorated occupational shaving mug c.1890-1900. Handled white porcelain mug features a hand painted baseball scene on the front panel with a batter hitting a ball and uniformed fielders awaiting the play. Original owner's name in gilt lettering appears to be "G.A. Misch" which has wear from handling. Baseball graphics remain quite bold with fine original color. This is the first example of this scene that we have encountered with regard to baseball related mugs of this type. 4" tall: EX-MT
