Description: 1888 Goodwin Champions N162 baseball tobacco card complete set. Attractive color lithographic 19th century issue of which the (8) baseball players offered are part of a larger (50) card set featuring various athletic card issues. Cards grade as follows: Anson: Has an EX-EX/Mt appearance but appears top have some slight trimming to the top edge, Andrews (light staining on back): EX, Brouthers: EX, Caruthers: EX, Dunlap (tiny surface wrinkle, otherwise EX/MT-NM): EX-EX/MT, Glasscock: EX, Keefe: EX, and Kelly: VG-EX. Very fine set with excellent breakdown value.
