Description: Smokey Joe Wood photograph by George Grantham Bain c.1918. Sepia tone 4"x5" image of Wood standing in the dugout wearing Cleveland uniform. Interestingly titled on the back "Joe Wood-Hard Hitter of the Clevelands" in that Wood had reinvented himself into a fine batsman after an arm injury ended his brilliant pitching career with the Red Sox. Stamped and dated by Bain on the reverse: EX-MT
