Description: Ty Cobb World War I studio photograph along with Ty Cobb handwritten postcard. Crisp studio image of Cobb posed in full U.S. military uniform measures 7"x9" with impressed G.V. Buck, Washington photographer's stamping. Photo has a light corner crease and tiny edge tear at left side: EX-MT. Lot also includes dated and postmarked 1918 postcard sent by Cobb to Mrs. Nora White. Content is written by Cobb and signed "Love to All, Ty". In addition Cobb has signed the postcard two other times as "T.R. Cobb" including the return address and a censorship i.d. Front of card has some edge wear. Desirable tri signed Cobb item from the WW I era. Includes LOA from James Spence Authenticaton: EX-EX/MT
