Description: Superb 1939 Hall of Fame Induction auto. baseball. The June 12, 1939 Inaugural Hall of Fame Induction remains, to date, one of the greatest assemblages of baseball giants including Ruth, Cobb, Wagner, Speaker, Young, Johnson, and Mack. Autographed baseballs from that storied date are rarely seen and very desirable. The offered baseball is a clean lt. cream color Harridge AL ball signed by (6) members of the original HOF inductee class. Signatures include Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, George Sisler, Connie Mack, Eddie Collins, and Walter Johnson. The autographs remain as the day they were signed ranging from 9-10 out of 10. The ball was consigned by the family of the original recipient and had remained stored in a drawer for over 50 years. Easily among the finer condition exemplars of its type and one of only a handful to enter the marketplace.
