Description: Significant dead ball era autographed baseball with Joe Jackson c.1912-18. Clear coated and toned B.Johnson AL ball signed by an incredible array of star players from the era incl. Walter P. Johnson, Ty Cobb, Hugh Jennings, Tris Speaker, Eddie Collins, Ray Schalk, Kid Gleason, and a scarce signature of Joe Jackson. Sigs range from 3-8 out of 10 with Jackson remaining quite legible rating 4/5. The ball was likely signed during a barnstorming or special event game the likes of which were extremely popular during the era. The ball originated from the estate of Hughie Jennings' mistress (along with other baseballs) who had lived in Alabama.
