Description: Fine August 23, 1942 War Bond game related lot to include ticket stub from the game, original copy of the August 24, 1942 New York Daily News picturing the various highlights of the game on the front page, original b&w image of Ruth emerging from the dugout by George Dorrill, and (3) original 8"x10" black and white images taken during the game including two with Babe Ruth and Walter Johnson (all three are stamped by photographer Wm. Greene on reverse). Very comprehensive grouping of materials relating to one of the more famous War Bond games ever played in which Ruth hit a home run off of Walter Johnson: Range EX-NM
