Description: Dutch Ruether professional model baseball bat c.1921-27. L.Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 34oz. with vault marked J18 stamped on both knob and barrel ends. Bat exhibits significant usage wear incl. handle crack with period finish nail repairs, barrel wear incl. cleat marks, and factory side writing which is illegible. "RUETHER" stamped on the barrel in block letters. The J mark indicates the bat was orded by Ruether and returned by another player to H&B. Ruether played for (11) years mostly with Cincinnati and Brooklyn. Includes LOA from SCD Authentic D.Bushing/D.Knoll and letter of provenance from the Hillerich & Bradsby Co: EX
