Description: Scarce H&B Louisville Slugger cardboard bat rack display with original advertising poster and shipping box c.1951. One of only a handful of known examples the offered display piece stands 48" tall with bat receptacles at the bottom rim. Body of the display features dozens of H&B player endorsees facs. signatures incl. Ruth, Williams, Cobb, DiMaggio, Speaker, and Wagner. At the top are two matching die cut cardboard batter figurals which remain intact and complete. The overall display remains unused and in nearly original condition with bright color and crisp surfaces. Has a few minor areas of wear to the areas where the various construction tabs are located and a vertical line crease on one side of the body. Lot also includes the original H&B shipping box, assembly insructions, and a great 17"x37" H&B advertising poster picturing the offered bat rack in a store display.
