Description: Rare Lewis "Hack" Wilson professional model baseball bat c.1932. L.Slugger 125 model bat measures 35" long and weighs 34oz. Bat retains very pronounced centerbrand and facs. signature stampings including "Powerized-Bone Rubbed" markings dating the bat to no earlier then August of 1932. Bat was returned to the Hillerich & Bradsby factory on 5-5-33 and is side written as such with date and name of "? C. Stephens". Exhibits evidence of heavy usage wear with repaired handle crack and barrel wear. Knob is missing front 1/3 and back of barrel has a single 6" layer missing. Hack Wilson terrorized NL pitchers during the 1920-30's era with a 1930 season for the ages in which he had 56 home runs, 190 RBI's, and ended with a batting average of .356.
