Description: Chicago Cubs pennant attributed to the 1932 World Series along with the accompanying ticket stub. Full size 24" long felt pennant issued at the 1932 World Series between the Cubs and Yankees in which Babe Ruth hit his famous called shot home run. Pennant has faded slightly from its original powder blue color (as evident on the reverse) and features the Cub mascot seated atop a baseball. Lightly notated on the ball in period pencil, "World's Series 1932 Cubs vs.Yankees". Has three small pinholes at the corners with two slightly larger mounting holes at left edge. Pennant includes the original World Series Game #4 ticket stub that was found (along with the Ruth Called Shot game stub in Lot 59 ) with the pennant. Ticket remains very clean with bright original color. Rare tandem from the famed 1932 Series: Pennant: VG-EX, Ticket: EX-MT
