Description: Rare September 8, 1930 Old Timers Day team photograph. Oversized 11"x14" sepia tone image taken at an Old Timers Day game played at Boston's Braves Field. The game featured (17) Hall of Famers which may well have been the largest such gathering at that date on one field. Players in attendance included Cobb, Young, Baker, Wagner, Clarke, Collins, Wood, Speaker, and Bender. Photo has a tiny corner chip at top right and a tiny edge tear at left side. This is the first example of this historic photograph that we have encountered for public offering. Includes letter of provenance from the Hillerich & Bradsby Co: EX
