Description: Ted Williams auto. correspondence relating to the Hillerich & Bradsby Co. c.1960-61. Interesting group of period correspondence between Ted Williams and the Hillerich & Bradsby Co. regarding Williams' new endorsement agreement with Sears, Roebuck, and Co. in which the rights to use Ted's name, etc. on products and advertising was awarded to the Sears Co. Includes 1961 typed letter with rare full name "Theodore S. Williams" signature and 1960 typed letter signed "(Ted) Theodore S. Williams" in black ink. Very rare pair of full name Williams signatures on primary source documents. Lot also includes other misc. (unsigned) letters and a vintage xerox copy of Williams' H&B bat contract. Includes LOA from PSA/DA J.Spence-S.Grad and letter of provenance from the Hillerich & Bradsby Co: EX-MT
