Description: Important Babe Ruth Hillerich & Bradsby Co. baseball bat factory record card c.1932-43. Offered is an original factory record card used to document Babe Ruth's baseball bat orders during a portion of his career. "Ruth, Babe", "New York, Boston Natl. Lea., and Brooklyn Natl. Lea." handwritten notations remain at the top of the 8"x11" sheet denoting the teams that Ruth played for during the period relating to this particular card. Fascinating piece offers unique insight into Ruth's bat preferences including terminology such as "plenty of knots" and "smaller handle". Historically significant piece with relation to both Ruth and H&B materials is the first of its type to ever be publicly offered. Includes letter of provenance from the Hillerich & Bradsby Co: VG-EX
