Description: Babe Ruth et al autographed baseball attributed to the 1923 World Series. Lightly clear coated and toned Heydler NL ball signed by Babe Ruth, Miller Huggins, Nick Altrock, Pat Moran, and a huge John J.McGraw signature that runs from one side panel to another. Signatures all remain quite legible with all but Huggins ranging from 6-9 out of 10. The Huggins signature is also fairly strong but has some lightness to the last name apparently from lack of ink flow. The ball appears to be very similar to other signed baseballs and photographs that are related to Christy Walsh and World Series promotional appearances. Based on Moran's presence on the ball and his death in March of 1924 the ball was most likely signed at the 1923 World Series between the Yankees and Giants in New York. Ball itself has some areas of light toning and a small hole from mounting on reverse sweet spot. Rare early Babe Ruth signed special event ball with desirable signature positioning above his charismatic manager Miller Huggins.
