Description: Rare Lou Gehrig auto. photograph c.1930's. Classic 7"x9" sepia tone portrait of Gehrig smiling signed at the bottom right, "To Malcolm With Kindest Personal Regards Cordially Lou Gehrig". Black ink salutation and signature remain very strong rating 8/9 out of 10 with three small areas of flaking to the ink within the salutation. Image itself has some typical light surface wrinkling and some very light toning with tiny pinholes at each corner. Gehrig signed images of quality are exceedingly rare and very desirable.
