Description: Rare Mickey Mantle and Stan Musial Wonder Bread advertising sign c.1959. Eyecatching 32"x44" cardboard sign that was recently discovered in the back offices of a rural grocery store where it had resided since its production. Colors remain vibrant and bold with no fading or toning, surface has some very minor general wear. Mantle and Musial are pictured in two large black and white portrait images on either side of the Wonder Bread advertising. Dated 1959 at bottom, spectatcular Mantle related advertising piece is the first example that we have seen offered at auction: EX/MT-NM
