Description: Superb Babe Ruth and others auto. photograph. Bold sepia tone 8"x10" image of Ruth with arms folded stamped on the back "Christy Walsh Management Co., NY". Photo is signed on the front by Babe Ruth "To Kay My Best Wishes Babe Ruth". Ruth salutation and signature rate 10 out of 10 remaining in near pristine original condition. Image has also been signed by other Walsh related entertainers incl. John Barrymore, Ethel Barrymore, Al Jolson (dated April 29, 1935 Radio City), and Christy Walsh himself. Image retains perfect contrast and clarity with some typical light surface crazing and a small repaired tear at top border that runs into the top of Ruth's hair although does not detract visually from the image. Most likely given by Christy Walsh to a client or friend, great display piece with unimprovable Ruth signature.
