Description: Mickey Mantle auto. "The Quality of Courage" book. 1964 first edition with dust jacket signed on interior cover page by Mantle. Endearing handwritten inscription above Mantle's signature is dated 9/24/64 and reads, "Dear Bob-I hope your favorite hero (and mine too) will give you hours of pleasure in this book. For I know he has given you many hours of pleasure as he performed on the ballfield (many hours of heartache too)-Love Dad". Desirable Mantle signed volume with an inscription that illustrates the deep affection in America for Mickey. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA J.Spence-S.Grad: EX/MT-NM
