Description:Lot of Jack Onslow related baseball uniform parts. We must admit that this is without question one of the most difficult lots that we have ever had to catalogue. The offered lot was, in fact, at one point Jack Onslow's 1949 Chicago White Sox jersey and a Boston Braves nameplate and #33 c.1941-45. The White Sox jersey has literally been cut into countless pieces with the left torso piece remaining fairly intact. Remainder of "Chicago" lettering is present along with original #23. "Boston" nameplate is apart but complete and is accompanied by the #33 which could have been either George Kelly (41-43) or Tom Sheehan (44). While in generally deplorable condition the offered group would make for excellent period uniform parts that could be invaluable for restoration purposes. Lot also includes a pair of cream color pants worn by Onslow with orig. Wilson tags most likely with the White Sox: PR
