Description: Red Grange children's doll c.1930's. Classic Grange collectible with composition head and hands retaining original blue uniform with applied #77 on front and gold pants. Doll is marked Sterling Doll Co., NY on back of neck and retains original high top cleats in fine condition. Cream color canvas helmet has small #77 written on front in ink. Includes a vintage handmade "Fighting Illini" football shaped tag that has been signed by Grange. Doll head has some minor surface scratching under the helmet. One of the cleaner examples of this desirable doll that we have handled. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA J.Spence-S.Grad (autograph): EX-MT
