Description: Scarce 1925 Colored World Series complimentary ticket. Incredibly rare ticket issued to Lincoln Giants player Arthur Chambers for a game played between the Hilldale Daisies and Kansas City Monarchs on October 8, 1925 at baker Bowl in Philadelphia. The 1925 Series was a rematch between the two early Negro League powerhouses with Hilldale prevailing by 5 games to 1. Players that participated in the Series included Mackey, Johnson, Mendez, and Santop. Ticket was affixed to a scrapbook page and retains black paper on the reverse which could most likely be removed if so desired. Front of ticket is intact and has some creasing and period ink notations incl. Chambers' name. Notable rarity is the first example that we have handled: VG
