Description: Mickey Mantle's personal fishing tackle box with autographed fishing license. Well used and well traveled metal hinged lid tackle box form the personal collection of Mickey Mantle. Box contains over (40) vintage fishing lures along with various fishing implements such as line, pocket knife, bobbers, hooks, and scale. In addition to the items mentioned our consignor discovered a hidden gem in the bottom of the box that was not noted in the original Mickey Mantle auction catalogue. Included is Mickey Mantle's June 10, 1972 autographed State of Texas fishing license. Pink 3 1/2"x6" paper license issued to Mantle and signed boldly in blue ink. Excellent breakdown potential with dozens of individual pieces including a fine vintage signed license. Very fine grouping of Mantle related sporting pieces that embody Mantle's love for simple country life. Includes LOA from the Mantle family and LOA from PSA/DNA J.Spence-S.Grad: Range VG-EX
