In the World Series, the Yankees found themselves in unfamiliar territory against the powerful Milwaukee Braves down 3 games to 1. In a legendary comeback, the Yankees became the first team since 1925 to recover from such a deficit to win the World Series. The 24 signatures on this white Harridge Official American League ball are in uniformly strong blue ballpoint ink, and include Mantle (on sweet spot), Ford, Berra, Slaughter, Turley (Cy Young Award), Howard, Bauer, Larsen, and Kubek.
