Description: "Timmie Award" figural football trophy c.1950-60's. Very high quality silver plated figural football trophy depicting a well uniformed boy running with a football under his arm. Measures 16" total height on original black painted wooden base. Retains orig. football shaped "Touchdown Club of Washington, D.C." placard on front and Balfour sticker under base. Very clean overall with some flaking to paint on base, these awards were given out to various athletes for their accomplishments including many pro players. Missing nameplate on front which would have identified player recipient: EX-MT
