Description: Detailed, cased model of the 1899 America's Cup yacht Valkyrie III. This model has a planked, basswood deck with mahogany skylights, companionways and rail. The gaff-rigged masts carry a mainsail, two foresails and a flying club, all of which are neatly stitched. The hull is painted deep blue above the waterline and deep red below.
