Description: Sports Illustrated Robert Riger, pencil on board from Jan. 14, 1959 issue. Approx. eleven illustrations depicting instructional techniques for ice hockey featuring players from the Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens, NY Rangers, and Detroit Red Wings. 4"x10" plus assorted sizes. Artists working with Sports Illustrated often created a series of drawings on one board. For purposes of describing these lots, individual drawings on the same board have been counted separately when totalling the number of illustrations in the lot.
