Description: Sports Illustrated Robert Riger, pencil on board from Jan. 19, 1959 issue in the article "Here's Why it was the Best Football game ever played". Three beautiful drawings depicting scenes from the New York Giants and Baltimore Colts landmark game. 8" x 18". Artists working with Sports Illustrated often created a series of drawings on one board. For purposes of describing these lots, individual drawings on the same board have been counted separately when totalling the number of illustrations in the lot.
