Description: Superb 1962 Stan Musial St. Louis Cardinals home jersey. Striking flannel shirt with orig. embroidered team name on front and #6 on both front and back. Very scarce "Musial" lettering on back (one of only a few possible years for Musial), Rawlings tag remains on tail front along with "Musial 62" chain stitched into jersey. Inside tail has dry clean and set/year tags. Jersey remains in fine overall condition with light usage wear. Musial was among the elite players in the league during his 22 year career and was a member of the NL All-Star team for an astounding 20 years. The offered jersey is easily one of the finest to become available for public sale with special note to the rarity of the player name on back of shirt.
