Description: 1973 Willie Mays New York Mets home jersey. Very rare home pinstriped Mets knit shirt with orig. team name on front and #24 on both front and back. Retains "42 73 24" size/year/number strip tag inside collar and Rawlings tag on tail front. Mets logo patch remains on left sleeve and jersey shows very fine overall usage and wash wear incl. some lt. soiling and appropriate wash fading to numbers and lettering. Mays completed his illustrious 22 year career with the 1973 Mets and is regarded by many historians to be the finest overall player in Major League history.
