Description: Superb 1975 Carlton Fisk Boston Red Sox home jersey. White knit jersey with orig. team name on front and #27 on back, retains orig. McAuliffe tag with size 42 tag inside collar and dry clean/year tagging on tail front. Jersey shows good overall usage and wash wear incl. staining and appropriate age toning. The 1975 World Series is viewed by many to be the greatest in history with countless memorable moments ending in a seven game series won by the Cincinnati Reds. However, it was the Game Six 12th inning game winning home run that endures as the hallmark of the Series and although the Sox were once again defeated the Fisk home run ranks as one of the greatest moments in Boston sports history.
