Description: 1925 Ty Cobb/Babe Ruth autographed baseball. In 1925, eleven year old Edward Martin was the catcher for a New York City team that was invited to play a game at Yankee Stadium as a warm up to a Yankee game. Immediately following the game the umpire handed a baseball to the catcher Martin. The official AL ball is signed by Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Johnny Vandermeer, and a few others. Signatures have some age fading but remain legible: VG
