Description: University of Pennsylvania baseball uniform c.1900-10. Rare high collar style jersey with detachable sleeves. Retains orig. Spalding tag in collar along with "Irwin" chain stitched alongside tag. Sleeves have been slightly trimmed at very ends, name lettering on front has some moth damage, and is missing one button. Includes similar and apparently matching pants with Spalding tag in waist and "Thompson" chain stitched alongside tag in identical fashion to stitching in jersey. Ivy League jerseys of quality are rare with this being the first example that we have handled with the original detachable sleeves: VG-EX
