Description: Rare Satchel Paige 1968 Atlanta Braves road jersey. Grey flannel jersey worn by Paige as a coach for the Braves in 1968 retaining original team name on front and #65 on both front and back. Wilson Set 1 1968 tag remains on tail front and is missing wash tag, Braves Indian logo patch is on left sleeve. Jersey shows appropriate usage and wash wear with nice overall appearance. Jersey was obtained from Pete Skorput (Braves Spring Training Director) by Joel Platt and given the impossible rarity of vintage Paige game worn jerseys the offered piece represents an important and possibly singular opportunity to acquire a major HOF member uniform piece.
