Description: Scarce 1907 Cincinnati Reds original photographic display piece by Carl Horner. Composite arrangement of the Reds players in classic Horner vignette formation incl. Huggins, Ganzel, Mowry, and Mason. Retains all of it's original hand painted intaglio decor on the mount along with several baseball equipment themed accessory details. Signed by Horner in black ink at lower right, 22"x25" in a period frame remaining in original condition with some light age toning and a moisture line running across the very bottom margin. These original Horner photographic composites are extraordinarily rare and seldom become available to the collecting public in comparison to the printed photographic team engravings (still very rare) made from pieces such as the offered display: EX
