Description: Joe Tinker's personal Chicago Cubs scrapbook c. 1908-1946. Period bound scrapbook which was personally kept by Tinker during his career and into his private life. Book is filled with period articles and photographs relating to Tinker's baseball career, Tinker's acting career in Vaudeville circuit, and his post baseball life including the amputation of his leg. Throughout the book there are several period notations but it is unclear as to whether they are in Tinker's hand. Includes letter of provenance from Tinker's daughter dated 1980: VG-EX
