Description: Fine collection of 1939 Baseball Centennial auto. First Day Cover envelopes. Total of (30) signed envelopes all with the 1939 Centennial postage stamp postmarked June 12, 1939 in Cooperstown,NY. Several of the envelopes were laminated for protection in the period, an (L) will be typed after the player name if they have been laminated. Players include Ruth (L), Johnson (L), Mack(L), Maris (signed on front and back)(L), Spahn (L), McCarthy (L), Rizzuto (L), Berra (L), Cochrane (L), Hubbell (L), Williams (L), Koufax (L), Gehringer (L), Musial (stamped) (L), B.Wamby (L), E.Smith (L), W.Moore (L), Wills (L), Feller (L), Mack, and (10) misc. multi-signed envelopes mostly from Minor League teams. Majority of the signatures remain very dark and bold ranging from 7-10 out of 10. Ruth, Johnson, and Mack all have hand addressed their envelopes along with the fact that they were part of the original HOF inductee class. Very fine group with strong breakdown potential, includes LOA from PSA/DNA J.Spence-S.Grad: Range EX-NM/MT
