Description: Not only one of the most significant automobiles of the world, this 1977 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow must be, by any definition, one of the most astounding tributes to New York Yankee greatness imaginable. Beautifully appointed with AM/FM-CD player, TV, VCR, navigation system and Sony Playstation, what makes this Rolls Royce truly remarkable is the 160 signatures applied to the car by many of the greatest Yankees of all time. If there were ever a "labor of love", the current owner - a devoted Yankee fan - spent a decade reaching out to Yankee players from many periods of baseball history to personally sign the car. In truth, photographs can't begin to tell the full story as the car is permanently signed over its entire body and inside as well. The unique baseball hood ornament is signed by Mickie Mantle and Joe DiMaggio.As this catalogue is going to press, preparations are being made to deliver the Rolls Royce to the Borgata well in advance of the auction for an extended preview.
