Description: The Japanese Tour of the All-American Team, November, 1934. Includes seven (7) original believed to be unpublished photographs, five (5) of which contain Babe Ruth, and other personalities Connie Mack, Lefty Gomez, Earl Whitehill, and the balance of the All-American team arriving in Honolulu and on board the Empress of Japan in October 1934, and arriving in Japan. Lot also includes a baseball-shaped invitation dated November 19, 1934 for a dinner for the American Baseball Party, pencil signed by Lefty Gomez, ôRabbitö Warstler, and Chas. Gehringer. Additionally a steamer sticker for the tour plus three (3) newspaper pages in Japanese reporting on the arrival of the team with hand-written notes in English: Range VG-NM
