Description: Pete Pihos Phila. Eagles game worn jersey c.1947-52. White Durene style shirt with applied green #35 on front and back. Retains orig. MacGregor/Goldsmith tags along with Mitchell & Ness/size tags on crotch flap. Sleeves have been cut at the shoulder, jersey also has some heavy usage wear incl. repaired hole and several abrasions. Pihos was an exceptional all around player noted for his clever receiving skills and was elected to the HOF in 1970. Includes letter of provenance from family and LOA from David Bushing/Dan Knoll: GD
