Description: Rare July 8, 1889 John L. Sullivan vs. Jake Kilrain boxing photograph. Mounted image of fight in progress for the heavyweigh title fight which took place in Richburg, Mississippi. Photo pictures wonderfull image of fight action with hundreds of spectators in the crowd. Has some damage including repaired tears at two corners and some border creasing. Has been professionally dry mounted and cleaned for stability and retains strong interior image condition, 9"x11" size overall: GD-VG
