Description: Lot of (4) 1918 Christy Mathewson World War I related passes. Includes 4.25"x3.5" paper pass with "Capt Mathewson" name written across the top (unknown hand) which granted him "Leave to go out of docks & return to embarkation office shed 44…" It is dated September 21, 1918. Also includes (4) 3.5"x2" to 2.75"x3" passes/stub portions which are dated throughout September of 1918 which appear to have allowed Mathewson to travel to or back from Paris, Blois, a Post Office ("A.P.O. 706"), and an additional unknown location (noted as "Tours").
