Description: Exceedingly scarce "Mickey Mantle Fan Club" pin - One of the great rarities in the sports field c.1952. Noted rarity and highly desirable 1.5" pin issued early in his career features a portrait image ringed by "Mickey Mantle Fan Club" text. Outstanding eye appeal with some minor surface wear to the front that is only readily apparent when it is moved in the light (this includes some circular scratching). Back has mild rust as is expected on pins dating to this era.
